the Modern condition of oak groves of the Europe causes alarm. Reduction of the areas of oak groves has
the all-European scale and is compared to speed of disappearance of tropical woods. Last researches show, that an oak -
wood breed which has moststrongly suffered owing to activity of the person: the part of oak groves has been cut down for
maintenance of needs of the
person, another - degraded owing to deterioration of the general ecological conditions. Broad-leaf woods, namely oak groves,
are one of rich and various ecological systems of the world who provide biological resistance of woods, a filtration of
atmospheric air, production of oxygen, saturation of air by fitocides and the general regulation of a climate.
Work in a direction of preservation and restoration of oak plantings in the Europe has great value. Process of restoration
of oak groves and by them of achievement of a maturity lasts tens years and can yield positive results only for following
generation. Therefore the youth can become the most interested and active force, capable to stop degradation of the European
oaks.

The purposes and tasks: |

To draw attention of youth to a problem of preservation and restoration of the European oaks.
- To show value of oaks for balance of ecological system and maintenance of natural balance;
- To promote formation of own attitude to a problem of preservation and restoration of oaks of the Europe;
- To learn to use the art-technology for attraction of attention to the decision of environmental problems;
- To attach youth to the ecological program « Oaks of the Europe »;
- To attach youth to practical activity on preservation and restoration of oaks.

Methods of realization:
- Carrying out the master-classes, creative workshops: on figure, the poster, a photo, a theatrical miniature,
literary creativity, journalism;
- Carrying out of the art-festival;
- Accommodation of a thematic selection of articles in mass-media;
- Carrying out of press conference;
- An establishment of information boards in places where century oaks grow;
- Creation of a site of young oak plantings;
- Development of WEB-page of the project « the Fine arts (art-technology) for preservation that of restoration of
oaks of the Europe »;
- Distribution of the information on the project through ecological information bases;
- Carrying out of excursion in a reserve zone «summer residences of Jyzefinov» Rokitne area of Rivne region
(a place where grow 500 - 700-years oaks).
Practical result:
- Attraction of attention of youth to a problem of preservation and restoration of the European oak groves;
- Familiarizing youth with the program « Oaks of the Europe »;
- Mastering by a technique of use of the art-technologies in the decision of environmental problems;
- Creation of a site of oak plantings;
- Creation of conditions for increase of a level of ecological consciousness of youth;
- Formation of an active civic stand of youth for the decision of environmental problems;
- Purchase of practical skills of creation of new wood plantings;
- Purchase of skills in work with mass-media;
- Development of creative abilities;
- Cooperation of youth representatives from the different countries for the decision of the all-European
environmental problem.
